A Little Bit About Our Republic
The Republic of Corolla ( ROC ) was established by
secession of the landmass known as
Corolla North Carolina
from the United States of America,
on July 8th, 2009 ( 7-8-09) at
approximately eight minutes and nine seconds after 7 PM.
The U.S. Department of State was immediately
notified of the secession and was given a 72 hour window with which
to respond, otherwise said Republic would be official.
Amazingly, the United States government never
bothered to react to the secession.
They never even sent the littlest
letter informing us that they objected
to the secession,
or even a “….while this is quite funny,
you must realize you cannot be a real country…..”
Nothing, zip, zero, nothing by way of response…..
Thus, our plucky little republic was born,
and continues to thrive.
