Let’s Capture Your Dog’s True Personality!
The best photos happen when dogs are simply being themselves—letting their unique personalities shine! To help you prepare for a fun and successful photo shoot, here are a few tips:
Grooming & Prep
- Bathe & groom your dog 1-2 days before the session—avoid doing it the same day, as it may tire them out.
- Arrive 5-10 minutes early to let your dog explore the location and burn off some excitement.
Collars & Accessories
- Remove hanging tags from the collar (I’ll edit out leashes whenever possible).
- Feel free to dress them up! Fancy collars, bows, or bandanas are welcome—it’s your session, so make it your own!
- Avoid harnesses (unless medically necessary), as they can hide your dog’s natural shape.
Treats & Toys
- I’ll have treats, but bring your dog’s favorites too (especially if they have allergies).
- Don’t forget water and any toys they love, like a ball or frisbee!
- Drool-prone pups? A cloth for quick clean-ups is a good idea.
Leash Guidelines
- Thin, 4-foot leashes work best (I’ll provide one if needed).
- No flexi-leashes—they make posing harder and are difficult to edit out.
- Remove poop bag holders before we start.
Most importantly, relax and enjoy the experience—your dog’s natural charm will make for amazing photos! 🐾
