Many times this is the only time entire families are able to get together for several years, and they want to commemorate this important occasion with a special portrait! Creating beautiful family portraits properly takes many, many years experience (I’ve been working with families for over 30 years!) Don’t trust your families memories to just anyone – be very careful when selecting your photographer – make sure that they show plenty of family group portraits and not just cute little kids on the beach – and make sure that they show more portraits than weddings (most wedding photographers are not very good portrait photographers).
