I know, no bfd to you folks at RW, but it’s a start.A Little Bit O Heaven
I’m not a huge “listen to music” while running person, but I’ve been doing it on and off since the 1st walkmans came out. It’s never really been right, headphones uncomfortable, players too big, music skipping on Discman and 1st generation iPods, etc.etc, etc.
…….but….for Christmas I got an iPod shuffle and added Bose TriPort earphones…wow..awsome sound quality, earphones stay in my ears, and the new Shuffle is so light that you don’t even know it’s there, just clip it on to the back of my headband or shirt, and take off!

did an easy 7 this AM to this playlist

My Way – Los Lonely Boys
Sherry Darling – Bruce Springsteen
Drop Me Off in New Orleans – Kermit Ruffins
My Baby Blue – John Hiatt
For Love – Robert Earl Keen
Surfin’ Safari – The Beach Boys
Get Over It – Eagles
Love Struck Baby – Stevie Ray Vaughn
Incommunicado – Jimmy Buffett
LA Woman – The Doors
Love In Decline -Jimmy Buffett
Someday Baby – Bob Dylan
I Can’t Understand- Los Lobos
Surfin’ Safari -The Beach Boys

Went out for a few cocktails and dinner last evening with people I used to work with at my old biz, The Image Maker. Not one of them is there anymore, and I’m happy to report that we’re all thriving. Darlene brought along a CD ( by Sarah Jean Bolger, which is really good, you should check it out )that she did the design and imagery for. Wendy is getting published in national magazines, and Rob, besides starting up his own gig, which is taking off, just became the father of twin boys. And me and Skip ( that’s Patti, for the uninformed ), well, you know our story.
These guys were such a big part of my life for so many years, I’m really glad that everyone’s doing so well.
hey, here’s another I just had to post.
Photographed a few weeks ago in Chester, NJ

I’m in the midst of a marathon printing session, just made this print, and really like the way it looks. It’s printed on watercolor paper, which gives it a nice textured feel.
Very busy at the moment, getting everyone’s orders ready for the holidays, and I don’t want to spend much time on the blog, but I just had to put this image up. She was this cool little girl with just the greatest personality.

I really like the way her hair separates a bit on her forehead, and the wisp on her left side adds just a touch of unruliness in an otherwise prim and proper portrait, keeping the feeling a little more real.
Had a killer portrait session with another past client from the old biz the other day. The weather was so warm we decided to work outside. Since my client is from Mendham, we went to the Cross Estate Gardens, a county park right in town. I used to work there often, but hadn’t been there in a while because of my “non-compete” contract. But that’s over now, and I’m very much looking forward to working on my old turf.

There were so many awsome images from this session it was hard to select the best, but here are two of my favorites.

This first one, in Black & White, has a kind of ethereal feel, while the second one , in color , just screams happiness and beauty.

I hope that you enjoy them too!

Lots of images of large, medium and small family groups on and off the beach in New Jersey and Corolla and Duck and the entire Outer Banks of North Carolina. There are also many images of sunrises, sunsets and surfing photos in the Outer Banks, along with a mix of dog and pet photography, business portraits and headshots from sessions in New York City and all over New Jersey. Lots of fun photos from my journey.
