Chris and I went out one day last week for a short hike up Mt. Tammany by the Delaware Water Gap. The trail is only 1.3 miles, but it’s pretty steep, rising to 1527 ft. Pretty drizzley and misty/foggy most of hike. No views once we where at the top, but the mist made for some cool images

We came back on the blue blazed trail which is 1.8 miles in length, but mostly down hill :-)

It’s hard to believe that on our little hike we walked more than twice as much as the average American does in an entire week, which is about 1.4 miles. That’s barely 350 yards a day. That’s just ridiculous. oh well.

It sure is!Got a call before the holidays from the Simmons’s PA. Seems that they had seen some of my work, liked it, and would I be able to fit them into my schedule on a certain date?

So we scheduled the session, and at first I didn’t recognize the name, but when we got down to the client details it hit me, and I was like, wow, how cool!
I always get a little nervous on my way to a high profile client, but the entire Simmons family were the nicest people to work with.
Besides creating the image, I wound up designing thier entire holiday card!

Hope they refer me to thier friends! :-)

I’m working on a few wedding albums at the moment, and just had to post the page spreads for this one. Karen and Alan had the coolest, most intimate ceremony ever.

My running streak hits 12 days!

Went out and did 5 miles in a very clear, but cold Hackettstown morning today. For those of you who don’t know, Hackettstown is where M&Ms are made, and this morning the smell of chocolate hit me as soon as I went out the door. It made for one really awsome run.

I’m not a huge “listen to music” while running person, but I’ve been doing it on and off since the 1st walkmans came out. It’s never really been right, headphones uncomfortable, players too big, music skipping on Discman and 1st generation iPods, etc.etc, etc.
…….but….for Christmas I got an iPod shuffle and added Bose TriPort earphones…wow..awsome sound quality, earphones stay in my ears, and the new Shuffle is so light that you don’t even know it’s there, just clip it on to the back of my headband or shirt, and take off!
