20 years as a Corolla family photographer, wow!

hey guys, just got back to the beach the other day and have to say that I’m pretty psyched for the 2023 season and then I realized that this is going to be my twentieth full time season as a family photographer here in Corolla, crazy I know, 20 years, and then it hit me that this is also my 45th year as a self employed full time professional photographer!

It all started in 1978 as a one person operation and over the years grew into a group of three studios in New Jersey named The Image Maker, located in Berkeley heights, Mendham and Princeton, we became the premier portrait studio in the New Jersey New York metropolitan area. Then it was time to for me to move on, and after that business was sold in 2003 I went back to being a one man band, and here I am sitting at my desk in Corolla OBX with the best summer job a guy could ever hope for!

Spring shows up this month.
Flip flops by the door.
Windows cracked open.
Salt air back on the brain.

And Oh yeah… and March brings St. Patrick’s Day. 🍀
Unofficial kickoff to party season? I’m not saying yes… but I’m not saying no either.

Winter had its moment.
Now it’s time for board shorts, sandy feet, warm breezes, and living a little more barefoot.
