For over 35 years I have been behind the lens.
Many years ago I chose to specialize in portraiture of business executives, families, children and pets. The spontaneity is energizing. There are literally hundreds of moments to be captured. What an honor it is to be commissioned to preserve a very special portion of a families’ history.
I have been awarded the degree of Master Photographer by the Professional Photographers Association of America, one of only several hundred in the entire country.
My commissioned works are in homes and galleries throughout the world.
As many of you know, in January of 2004, after nearly 23 years, I sold my interest in my three photography studios
and ventured out on my own.
Mostly because it “just wasn’t fun anymore”, but also, getting ready to turn the big “five oh”, it was definatly time for a change. I felt that my work was stagnating; I wasn’t a photographer creating exciting images anymore.
I was spending all of my time running the business.
I now work by appointment from two very different locations. In New Jersey I work from my home in Hackettstown and on location over the entire New Jersey / New York metropolitan area.
During the summer months, I work from my location on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Located just half a mile from the beach in the Historic Village of Corolla, my studio/gallery is just a stones throw from the Currituck County Lighthouse.
With a great mix of location and studio assignments, and with an amazing group of clients from all over the country, I am once again creating images that are
“unique and exquisite”.
I currently reside in New Jersey, and in Corolla, North Carolina, with my wife, three children (they all are now out on their own), a couple of sons in laws, four grandkids, a 15 year old Jack Russell Terrier and a 9 year old (guesstimate) rescue mixed breed that found us a couple of years ago.

Somewhere along the line people started thinking exercise was about punishment.
I’ve never really seen it that way.
For me it’s always been about feeling good.
Clear head.
Strong legs.
Good energy.
Better mornings.
I still run at least a mile every day, move my body, eat pretty clean, do some yoga … and yeah… I still enjoy a couple of beers now and then too. 🍺🙂
I’m not chasing perfection.
I’m just trying to feel alive and stay engaged with life.
And honestly…
I think optimism might be just as important as vegetables.
Keep moving.
Keep laughing.
