There’s a reason most families book evening sessions.
Sunset on the Outer Banks just hits differently.
The light gets soft.
The colors warm up.
The breeze cools down.
And maybe most importantly…
Everyone is already in vacation mode.
As a Outer Banks family photographer, I typically guide families toward sunset because it naturally creates the best combination of:

Not everyone wants to wake up at 5am on vacation.
And not everyone is at their best that early.
