I’ve always been a fan of the off season, and a few days in Cape May at the bottom of New Jersey reconfirmed that. The small towns, Beach Haven on Long Beach Island in New Jersey, Montauk at the very end of Long Island, the island of Nantucket and Corolla in the Outer Banks and old 50s style oceanfront motels are my jam. A warm chilly loneliness that is very friendly exudes from these beach environs, can’t wait to explore a couple more in ’23.
