As a photographic artist, I know that the best portraits are felt. They spark a connection between the subject, the photographer and the viewer.
My objective through portraiture is to develop sensitivity towards my subjects, a sensitivity based upon experiences with family and friends. A child’s affection for a doll, a mother cradling her baby, a wife touching her partners hand, mom and dad together with their children….. all these touches of love are part of human relationships, and capturing them through portraiture is my ultimate goal.
