On Sunday the 30th I was entered in and supposed to run my 6th Marine Corps Marathon…….both of my Achilles had something to say about that. I’ve had issues with them and have been self diagnosing for almost a year now. It’s time to call a real doc. Think I’ll do it as soon as this post is up.
So instead of running 26.2 I went out with Patti, Chris and Bradley ( the dog ) and did a bit over 8 miles on the AT.

I’m really into this AT thing. We’ve been to both ends in NJ now, and are going to try and fill in the gaps during the next year. Can you believe that some people hike the entire length ( over 2000 miles ) in one trip! Takes most people six months or so. What a great adventure that would be!
