With three distinct types of sessions, each offering its own unique benefits, I offer an ideal option for every family!
Mini-Sessions
My mini beach portrait sessions are fun, fast, and very affordable, at only $329 for a twenty minute session that includes all of the edited high resolution digital files from the session, along with a print release and a personalized gallery, they are the best value on the beach!
My mini-sessions are not meant for extended family groups and are limited to a maximum of seven (7) people.

Full Family Digital Sessions
Perfect for any size family! During your session I will work with your entire group, each individual family, all your children as a group and/or individually, or whatever combinations you decide would be best for you. There is no time or picture limit. And unlike most Outer Banks photographers, I dedicate each evening/morning to one client, ensuring a personalized and unrushed experience………….

Your family digital session includes includes all of the edited high resolution digital files from your session via download, along with a print release, and an online gallery for 1 year with the option to order prints and products from a professional quality lab. (If you would like to receive a disc of the images in addition to the digital download, this option is also available)
Classic Family Portrait Sessions and Masterpiece Portraits
The best of the best!
These fees are divided into two parts. The first part is for the portrait session itself. This is two hundred thirty five dollars regardless of where we do your portrait session. This fee allows me to spend as much time and to take as many photographs and poses as necessary to create great portraits for you. During your session I will work with your entire group, each individual family, all your children as a group and/or individually, or whatever combinations you decide would be best for you. There is no extra charge for this. There are usually well over one hundred images from which you can select. The second part of my fee is for the finished images / portraits themselves. These fees vary from one thousand five hundred dollars for a Custom Framed Gently Painted® Masterpiece Canvas Portrait that is forty inches wide (adequate to display over a very large sofa) down to fifty dollars, depending on the size and the quantity of the portraits. Most of my clients wind up spending about four to five hundred dollars and get a larger portrait for themselves and some smaller ones to give away as gifts to family or to use as Holiday cards, but some clients choose to invest much more to get exactly what they want. My finished portraits are offered for sale individually, not in packages, this way you purchase only what you need. All of my Masterpiece Portraits are custom printed by me, fully and individually retouched and guaranteed for a lifetime.
Great family portraits don’t happen by accident, it takes a special skill set to create these perfect Outer Banks family group portraits, one that is acquired over many years………getting unruly children ( and grown-ups lol ) to cooperate, making the session fun for everyone and getting great results, every time, that’s no small feat………….I’ve been doing it since 1978, so I definitely have my 10,000 hours in working with families of all sizes and shapes.
