Asbury Park, NJ

So the other day this Outer Banks Photographer once again found himself in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and although it sure ain’t the Outer Banks, it’s a very cool place in it’s own right, with tons of history…..Springsteen, Tillie, the Stone Pony, madame Marie, Casino Pier and on and on.

Mostly kind of run down at the moment, Asbury Park has always had a very cool underlying vibe for me, and I would love to see it make a comeback to it’s former glory. If you are ever in the area, and have never been to Asbury Park, you really should stop and check it out, there are some great restaurants  on the boardwalk, and also a few blocks off the beach back in town. Lots of art galleries too.

Dog Days of Winter

Here’s a couple of portraits from the Dog Days of Winter portrait fund raiser to benefit Eleventh Hour Resuce. Sebastian and Marty were a lot fun to work with, and I’m looking forward to making a lot more four legged friends over the next couple of weeks.
