Had some fun yesterday taking pictures of Gracie running towards me as Skip and I were practicing her recalls.

Gracie is so great, she’s getting bigger and faster now. She loves to play outside in the snow and go for runs with me. We take her almost every where. She’s very well behaved ( what else would you expect from a graduate of Top Dog Academy ), and now in the advanced beginner class at puppy school.

and computers are not the best of friends,they don’t get along well together………I know because I spilled a full glass of water on macbook the other day and it slowly said good bye. I performed immediate life support…took it apart and let it dry out for a few days and it seemed to work fine. cool. I put it back together but I had a few extra pieces left over. So off to the Apple store, where they told me that my warranty was now voided, but they were way cool and fixed a warranty issue anyway and put the whole thing back together ( with the extra pieces ) for a very fair price. So I get it home and I’m psyched cause hey, I thought that I might have to buy a new machine, but mines now fixed……..but not so fast big guy. I turn it on …..and it makes the tone like it’s coming on and then…….nothing, the screen goes blank :-( not cool. So I fuss with it on and off all day to no avail. Another trip to the Apple store where they are very nice but remind me that water voided my warranty etc. No duh. They take my computer into the back for a while and bring it out and kind of semi fixed it….as long as the display is in a certain position it seems to work fine, but tilt the display a bit and it goes dark. They reminded me again that my “mother board” is awfully corroded and I’m lucky that it works at all, which I guess in all reality I am. Although I kind of wonder why it worked okay before they “fixed” it and put it back together. Oh well, I guess the lesson to be learned here is one that we already know……..keep your drinks and stuff away from your computer.
I think I’ll go skiing tomorrow.
