where’d my little Spike go?…..all grown up, just about to graduate Loyola. Me, Skip and Chris went down to Baltimore to spend the weekend with Laura, so did her favorite family in the entire world, our nieghbors the Baduinis. We all checked out the Loyola/Syracuse ( Chris B played for ‘cuse eons ago…. lol!) lacrosse game, then went out to an awesome dinner with them at Dalesio’s in little Italy.
On Sunday Kim and Aaron were passing through Baltimore on their way back to Lew-weez-e- anna, so we were all together as a fam, which was way cool. After dropping them at the airport we spent a little time at the Inner Harbor with Laura, then headed back to NJ and a nice glass of chardonnay.
I just found this on the web, I don’t even know how I stumbled across it……but I love it.

We own a home in Corolla Light. We searched for a good photographer for a family reunion we hosted. Bruce Lorenz was the photographer we chose and he did a fantastic job!!!
We had 20 people (plus 2 toddlers and 2 dogs). He even got the dogs to smile! We had the whole group done and then he did individual families. After looking on various websites, we decided that when you have such a big group, all white shirts does not look so good. Everyone wore khaki pants and had the choice of white, pale yellow or pale blue. The photos were fantastic.
As any family reunion goes, you always have your naysayers. My 80 year old father was the worst. He thought this was a ridiculous idea. After having the photos done, (at 6am on the beach) we returned to Bruce’s studio that afternoon. He displayed the photos and we all decided which pictures we wanted. My father still raves about the photographer and he loves having the pictures displayed in his home. He even admitted that he was wrong!
We all have this cherished memory of “The family reunion.” I would highly recommend Bruce Lorenz.

Lots of images of large, medium and small family groups on and off the beach in New Jersey and Corolla and Duck and the entire Outer Banks of North Carolina. There are also many images of sunrises, sunsets and surfing photos in the Outer Banks, along with a mix of dog and pet photography, business portraits and headshots from sessions in New York City and all over New Jersey.
