and I’d like to say a very special thank you to everyone who participated in my annual Toy Sitting for 2011. A ton of toys were donated by you guys, and many smiles were brought to the faces of children that are not as fortunate as us this holiday season. Here are some of the toys just before being donated.

and for those that are interested, my running streak hit 5 years yesterday, that’s 1826 days without missing a day of running at least one mile……..2011’s total miles were 1231!

Once again, that you all so much for your continued support and love.

Corolla Light Resort here in Corolla has a very cool program called OBX Wounded Warrior, which donates vacation homes to our wounded veterans and their families.

Today Corolla Surf Shop donated surf lessons to several of the families and I was very proud to be able to document the lessons, and provide these families with photographs from todays lessons.
